So last night I had the privelege of photographing my friend’s son, Ezekiel. Ezekiel is an awesome little dude. He was actually a little sleepy during the session but that didn’t stop us from getting some really great photos. I basically switched back and forth between a 1 and 2 light setup. I used a LumoPro Flash that I bought from mpex.com for the main light and used a Vivitar 285 shot through some water filled & stacked glasses to create an interesting pattern on the background. This was something I picked up at strobist.com that David Hobby demonstrated during his DVD seminar. I would love to know what other things that you all have shot a flash through to create some interesting patterns for the background, or just any ideas that you may have.
